Willard Charles Kellerman

Willard Charles Kellerman, 85, of Columbia, IL, formerly of Pinckneyville, passed away at 4:15 P.M., Saturday, September 4, 2004 at the St. Anthony Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Williard had worked as a locomotive engineer for Penn-Central Railroad for twenty-five years.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pinckneyville.  He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Engineers for thirty years.
He was born January 10, 1919 at Breese, IL, the son of Charles Edward and Mildred Mabel (Baker) Kellerman.
He married B. Faye Hutchings on October 4, 1981 at Augusta, Georgia and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Columbia, IL, one son - Donald Gene Kellerman and wife Carol of Mulkeytown, IL, three daughters - Rosalie Smith of Killeen, TX, Linda Comiskey and husband James of Brooklyn, MI, and Lana Butzky and husband Karl of Livonia, MI, one step son - Glenn Batson of Du Quoin, one sister - Helen Duane Lucas of Myrtle Creek, OR, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son - Charles W. Kellerman, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Jon Smithley officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery at Pinckneyville.
